Basic Access (Monthly - Tk 999)

Professional Access (Monthly - Tk 1,499)

3. Refund Policy

3.1 Digital Services Nature

As BLD provides digital subscription services with immediate access to legal databases and content upon purchase, our refund policy is structured to balance customer satisfaction with the nature of digital content delivery.

3.2 Refund Eligibility

This refund and cancellation policy is governed by the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 and the Digital Commerce Management Guidelines, 2021 of Bangladesh. Once digital access is activated, refunds will not normally be provided except in cases you may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

  • Technical Issues: If you experience persistent technical problems that prevent you from accessing the service, and our support team is unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours of your first report.
  • Duplicate Charges: If you have been charged multiple times for the same subscription due to a payment processing error.
  • Unauthorized Transactions: If a subscription was purchased without your authorization (subject to verification).
  • Service Not as Described: If the service significantly differs from what was advertised on our website at the time of purchase.
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days from the original purchase date.

3.3 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted in the following cases:

  • After you have accessed, downloaded, or utilized the legal database and content.
  • If the subscription has been active for more than 7 days.
  • If you simply change your mind or no longer need the service.
  • For partial months in monthly subscriptions or partial years in yearly subscriptions.
  • If your account has been suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service.
  • For promotional or discounted subscriptions (unless explicitly stated otherwise).

 

3.4 Refund Processing Timeline

Once your refund request is approved it will be processed within 7 to 10 working days from the date of approval. The refunded amount will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase. You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated. Depending on your bank or payment provider, it may take an additional 5-7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

 

3.5 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are not provided for:

  • Unused portions of monthly or yearly subscriptions.
  • Subscription downgrades during an active billing cycle.

 

4. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their subscription within 7 days of purchase by submitting a written request to our support team with proper transaction details. Cancellations will only be processed if the user has not accessed or used the digital content.   • No refunds will be provided for the remaining days of the current billing cycle.
  • Yearly Subscriptions (Enterprise Access)
  • You may cancel at any time, but no pro-rated refunds will be issued for the remaining months.
  • You will continue to have access until the end of your 12-month subscription period.
  • The subscription will not auto-renew after cancellation.

 

4.3 Post-Cancellation

 

Once your subscription expires after cancellation, you will lose access to all premium features and legal database content. Your account data will be retained as per our Privacy Policy. You may re-subscribe at any time at the current pricing.
